Life can feel like a loop sometimes. You clock in, you clock out. To me, that feeling is the most uninspiring way to live, yet I can’t help but get sucked into its gravity. When I wrote this song, I reflected on being in this loop at times in my life and how all it took was one simple joy to break myself out of it. For me that was remembering how to enjoy music again, without the need to be good at it.
