This is the first song I wrote after several months of on and off interest in music. I was frustrated that I wasn't able to find a clear direction in what I wanted to make. It felt like I was being "pushed and pulled" without any control of the outcome. And when I tried to take control, the outcome always felt disingenuous. At some point, I just let go and this song kind of surfaced. It made me realize that if I just accept the wave of change, new inspiration will come and it won't be anything that I could predict. I feel greatly relieved by this and hope to keep this song as a reminder when I find myself returning to this state of mind.
